Jingle Bell Painting {Toddler and Preschooler Christmas Craft}

The bright summer sun sits high in the sky, the air is warm perhaps a touch on the hot side, the smell of the sea drifts in and the taste of salt hits my tongue.

I can hear the soft jingling of bells, smell yummy gingerbread and hints of peppermint.

Excitement and happiness and a tiny bit of stress are all around.

It’s Christmas!

Magic in Light {Baby Light Play}

Hi all! It's Ashlee from Loving Naturally back again. Welcome to another Playful Baby post!

Light can some times be taken for granted, it's not until we are in the dark that we truly appreciate the magic and wonder that light brings. Turning a wall into a puppet show or a pumpkin into something spooky.
For a toddler exploring light is just as magical. Little A loves light torches, they can keep her entertained for hours, hiding under the bed shining it around.

The benefits are endless.

An Invitation to Create {Process Art with Plastic Bottles}

We love process art, here! It has so much educational value, and allows the girls to explore their environments with their senses, express themselves through the creative arts, problem solve and make discoveries. Process art is exactly what it sounds like, it's not about creating a finished product but rather about exploring and enjoying the process.

It's this love of process art, that makes me so happy to be taking part in the Process Art Monthly Challenge, with other like-minded bloggers! Be sure to scroll to the end of this post and check out the links below to see how others are exploring with plastic bottles this month!

Book Inspired Play for Toddlers and Preschoolers

One of my favourite ways to create invitations to play, for the girls, is by using a book for inspiration. Unfortunately, it's not something I've blogged about much, although I have plenty of photos of book inspired activities just waiting to be posted!

When Karen, from Raising Little Superheroes, invited me to be a part of her Book Inspired Crafts and Activities series I jumped at the chance!

The activity I'm sharing with you today is a simple one-but like most of our simple activities, it was a big hit with the girls!
