Vanilla, Foam Cloud and Salt Sky Sensory Box

During our series: The Creation Story for Babies and Toddlers I made a Vanilla, Foam Cloud and Salt Sky Sensory Box for Bubbles. This is the details on how to make it for yourself:

Vanilla, Foam Clouds
Ingredients:
Dishwashing liquid
Half a cup of water
2tbs vanilla essence

Method:
Place the water, vanilla essence and big squirt of dishwashing liquid into an electric mixer. Mix on high until foam begins to over flow. Place big dollops of foam onto salt sky or your preferred play surface.

Blue Chalk, Salt Sky
Ingredients:
1tbs crushed blue chalk
Salt

Method:
Place enough salt into your preferred play container to cover surface area thinly. Place chalk into container on top of salt. Shake container until salt is dyed blue.

Please always supervise your infant/child at play.  Please stay within arms reach and never leave infants/children unattended.  You know you're infant/child best, use your own judgement-considering your infant/child's temperament, habits, behaviour and development before you play with a new play medium.
